Território de Rupturas is a transdisciplinary collective formed by the artists Gustiele Fistaról and Tiago Gasperin, which investigates methods of collective creation in a digital sphere as a way of approaching territorial boundaries.

 

The collective, currently based in Brazil and Germany, was founded in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic social distancing, when the members were looking for alternatives to keep creating artwork collectively during that period. 

 

Território de Rupturas has created video performances that have been shown in several festivals in Brazil and Europe, and also carried out training for audiovisual artists, research and workshops through cultural support funds, and masterclasses for the Statal University of Rio Grande do Sul, in Brazil. Among the most recurring topics in their practice are the quotidian (daily life,) the city, the act of walking, and borders.
